WOW!! Fantastic food and the service was amazing!
This is a small local restaurant in downtown Milledgeville, GA. They are open for lunch and dinner. There are several other places to eat (And shop for different items) within the 2 blocks downtown area, but none have the great and varied taco treats that can be found at Bollywood. Seating can be found inside (Tables), at the bar, and outside. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, tea, soda (Pop) and other drinks are available. It's generally quiet. Service was terrible. I visited on the evening of July 19th. The young lady working upfront was absolutely rude. I honestly have never been treated like this in an establishment before in my life.
So much potential. Using naan bread for a taco shell is a really good idea. However, the flavors are indecipherable. I had the Bombay Chicken, Lamb Kofta, and Chili Paneer tacos. All 3 tacos were a haphazard mix and messy. The naan is not puffy, not flavorful. It’s rubbery, like maybe just frozen naan bread for a grocery store. The Bombay Chicken was probably the worst offender. The dry chicken had a flavor. Not sure what. Unmemorable. The Lamb was probably the better of the 3, but no real flavor story. The gentleman up front with the beard and mustache kept coughing into his hand, touching his hair and beard and NEVER washed his hands! And he continued to serve food and hand out menus. The waitress was very nice. The food was horrible!
