Quoted $1000 for an alternator replacement. Then he said he’d cut me a deal down to $850. Then later called me back and said there was a fuse that needed replaced so it brought the total back up to $1000. Spent $1000 on my alternator replacement … instead of replacing the blown 140a fuse he soldered it together. He assured me the soldering would be rated for 140amps….
