Was sent for a mental evaluation through the veteran crisis line and was told to give this er a call when I was heading in and when I called the lady who answered the phone was VERY VERY RUDE and hung up on me. So I called to one of their ers in Jackson and went to Jackson instead. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this er at all!

It feels a disservice giving this facility one star they are deserving of none in my opinion from my experience with them. I don’t understand how this place hasn’t been shut down. I did see a 5 star if they saved just one life it’s worth it staying open but if you could make it to Jackson, Tn or any other close hospital you should. Every department I encountered were all very unprofessional, uninformed, outdated, unfamiliar, clueless, inappropriate, and inefficient. My mom was admitted to Bolivar General Hospital Thanksgiving night. She was taken immediately to the back, where Dr. Ryan and the team stabilized her and let us know that they were going to be transporting her to Jackson Madison County General. All the staff from the front desk to the nurses to the doctor to the ambulance crew were knowledgeable, caring, and fast-moving in a critical situation. I am forever grateful for the care we received. May God bless them all!
