I drove my Escape to my local dealership. I was told that I would have to pay for the diagnostics. I was fine with that. When they called back with the repair quote, it was higher than the value of the vehicle. I declined the repair. They told me that they deemed it unsafe to drive and that I would have to have it towed. I reluctantly agreed and paid the ridiculously high diagnostics cost.
