A must see. The boat ride alone is worth the price. The castle is amazing and the story behind it even moreso.
boldt castle is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, especially the gardens and flowers, which were one of my favourite parts. the history of the island is also very sweet and interesting. George Boldt originally intended to build the castle as a gift for his wife, which makes the story behind the castle even more meaningful. there were also many historical objects and artifacts displayed throughout the castle, which was interesting to see and helped give a better understanding of what life was like during that tim... read more
