Bold City Brewery is the result of Brian & Susan Miller's hard work and passion. Brewing began in 2002 and now Bold City Brewery has the honor of creating Jacksonville's own selection of Craft Beer. Bold City has its own Tap room and a menu that includes burgers, whole wings and pulled pork. Bold City enjoys hosting football / game parties and even private events. This was the first brewery I went to when I moved into the suburbs of Jacksonville and I wish I would have gone to any of the other ones for my first time. All of bold city's beers were ok. There wasn't anything about any of the beers that stood out to me. The flavors are mild and the texture was light. I've tried their killer whale cream ale, manatee IPA, red ale, apricot wheat and their brown ale. If you haven't been here I would give it a try. Bold City is a really nice place to visit if you like craft beer. The staff is friendly and usually remembers whether you have been there before. The beer is always good. Although you can't order food there, periodically they'll have BBQ catered.
