Updating my review because credit where it is due. My first visit with Dr. Steier honestly left me pretty discouraged and feeling unheard. BUT — he completely turned that around. He listened to my concerns, took accountability, and went above and beyond to make things right on a follow up visit. That second visit was a totally different experience. Everyone at this clinic is amazing. Dr. Steier is that rare combo in a specialist of being both very knowledgeable and very humble/collaborative with you as a patient. Linda, the front desk lady, is so sweet and kind. And the MA’s Sydney and McKenzie are very caring and attentive (which unfortunately has often not been the case in my experience with nurses and MA’s). I will definitely be going back.
The office staff and communication were above and beyond. Unfortunately, my visit with the new provider was the opposite. I have chronic joint pain, tendonitis, and bursitis and had previously received excellent care from Dr. Rupp before her retirement. I anticipated a seamless transition. I just seen Dr. Steier for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Although he is a nice enough doctor, I feel that he didn't want to look any further into my arthritis and just threw more medications at me. I need pain relief, not a comatose state of mind. Also, the front staff was not for me. The older lady kept INSISTING that I leave a copy of my debit card with them on file.
