Don't go anywhere else! We left home due to back to back snow/ice storms and found this fantastic motel home away from home. We called spoke with Stephanie and she said come on down and she would have our room ready. We stayed 10 nights and wow what an awesome place. King bed wrapped around you wonderful pillows best sleep I ever had. Coffee micro/frig covered porch sliding glass doors easy to get our pet in and out with no extra pet fee. Motel is retro, very quiet/peaceful. Rooms are extremely clean and are decorated w retro working phones, clocks, and lava lamps! The owners are very friendly & accommodating to all (including pets) and the location is convenient to Southport & Oak Island & ferries. Every time I come to visit my brother, this is my 'home' for as long as I'm in the area.
We loved our experience. Lots of amenities. The owner has thought of all the small things you might need and twice stopped to remind us not to ask if we needed anything. It was quiet and away from the noise yet a short drive from the attractions nearby in Wilmington and South Port. It was child friendly, pretty friendly, bike racks, gazebo area lots of benches and inviting outside and in. Best was the owners hospitality. Worth every penny for family or couples.
Clean and comfy. Ideal location for someone who is working at Sunny Point.
Great space rooms clean and bed was comfortable. Owner was very accomodating and worked with our schedule. Definitely will stay here again.
