Amazing bagels with equally tasty cream cheeses. We needed this in East Bay!
very friendly service, the one behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable. We were excited to see a vegan option with kite Hill cream cheese for the daily specials. Yes, the bagels are more expensive at 3.25 for 1 but for knowledgeable service and a comfortable atmosphere it's a great stop.
We loved the freshness of being baked onsite as well as the vegan options. Their special of the day was using Kite Hill non dairy cream cheese which was delicious! Also appreciated the unique options such as Vegemite.
My wife and I like sesame bagels. I knew they were $3.50 each, essentially the price of a whole loaf of bread, but we heard good things about how authentic these bagels are, so we decided to splurge. I went up the ordering counter mid-morning and asked for two sesame bagels. The person behind the counter told me they still have some sesame bagels, but are saving them for their lunch customers. Saving them for other customers? Let me help you save them forever...
Daughter got me a bagel this morning and I didn't know everything bagel meant burnt parts also. The whole inside of my bagel was burnt, I just threw it away. Did the person that smothered cream cheese all over the burnt bagel figure it wouldn't be noticed or TASTED burnt. 1st try and last try. Never again!!!!
