great local dairy business with hometown hospitality!
Have always loved Boices since I was a little kid. My experience tonight was a turn off... 25 min wait to put my order in and I was only 3rd in line- only 2 employees behind the counter with a line out to the side walk, at least 2 large families left while I was waiting. One of the employees appeared high, walking around aimlessly at turtle speed, forgetting orders, giving out incorrect orders, it was a disaster... the other employee, also slow, hopping between the window and the store register. Even just a plain soft vanilla is extravagantly rich and creamy. Is it wrong to visit every day?
The last few times I’ve been here the employee at the counter was unfriendly. Fine. But today, the same girl, we asked for a cup of ice cream to go (with a lid and bag). She was pissed and threw the ice cream and spoon in the bag. Wow. Great customer service. Anywho, the twins who were playing the keyboards out front was the highlight of our night and I tipped them $10. Friendly, talented and SMILING. Please for the love of god, train your employees on customer service. Not look like they have the worst job in the world.
