i went to google and found dr bohannan. he took out 3-of my wisdom teeth. one of them was already impacted. it took only 30-minutes. i am very happy with the result. i love the receptionist at his office, catherine. she called me to make sure i was ok 2-hours after the surgery. oh and fyi, this dental office takes pmi/delta dental
All I can say is thanks. After dealing with this bridge that came off almost monthly for the last year, I finally decided to get something done. I saw Dr. Bohannan and really liked his approach despite giving me bad news. He told me my bone was too thin to accept implants as the teeth in the area were removed 20 plus years ago. So he had to take bone from my jaw and move it to where the implants were going to be placed. Saw two other oral surgeon who wanted to take bone from my hip and put into my sinus for implants. Dr. Bohannan used a new material (some protein) that tells the body to make bone. It worked great, I didn't have to have any bone taken from anywhere and six months later my implants went in. 4 months after that I had teeth. It took a long time, but I was told it would take a year. Job well done and my hip thanks him.
This guy showed me the most amazing three dimensional pictures of my jaw problem. Explained everything in great detail and all the alternative and for once wasn't sold something. I made my mind up after seeing two other doctors. After removing my wisdom teeth painlessly, 6 months later he advanced my upper jaw, set back my lower jaw and shortened my Jay Leno like chin. Dr. Bohannan placed an implant in my FRONT tooth. He also removed all four of my wisdom teeth. With respect to my implant, my dentist said it was the best implant he had ever seen. Completely painless. His is by far the smartest oral surgeon/dentist I have ever met. He called me right back when I paged him. His staff answered all of my questions.
