My wife and I dined at Bohanan's before going to the Majestic. Dinner was $564 before tip. Our server, Alex, recommended the 8 oz. A-5 wagyu steak ($195) imported from Japan. My wife asked Alex for an entree to compliment the wagyu. He suggested the scallops without mentioning the price. The 4 scallops were $79.80, which I think was excessive. Treating my mother to dinner at Bohanan's was a culinary revelation that exceeded every expectation. Great everything … however, it was not so great paying $30 for a glass of Cabernet that was full of sediment. It was unacceptable. The waitress said some wines have that pulp. Total BS. After checking with several sommeliers…..that should NEVER be served especially for $30 a glass. So disappointed Bohanon’s 😥.
Bonhanan’s is easily one of the best restaurants in town. Everything here is fantastic and the proximity to the Majestic Theater is perfect for a pre show dinner!
