I went to David to get proof of my diagnosis of ADHD. I was shocked when I first saw him because he is 30-40 years older than his photo. From the moment I stepped into his office I felt unsettled. He did not look at my face and he never made eye contact. He stared down at his paper on his desk. He asked me questions and wrote my answers to these questions down in messy manner. Honestly, my experience with this man was terrible. This was my first psych intake ever, and it was for an ADHD diagnosis and assignment to a psychiatrist. He was extremely stern with me for crying when opening up about issues I don’t talk about often, and then told me within 10 minutes that I didn’t have ADHD and that I had major depressive and possible bipolar or a personality disorder(VERY extreme claim. If i could give NEGATIVE stars i would. This is coming from a masters level therapist (myself) HE WAS AWFUL!!!. I went for an ADHD evaluation and after 15 minutes and a bunch of math questions he tried to diagnose me with bipolar and major depressive disorder. I went to another specialist who did a formal assessment which took two hours and ended up being 21 pages and was properly diagnosed with combine type ADHD. Adhd appointment was extremely disappointing. He did not provide any guidance or a solution. He was extremely unprofessional and cursed at a telemarketer on a call he took during the appointment.
