Established in 1990 Dr. Carl Boeck and Dr. Ronald Schisler graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California in 1979. Upon graduation, Drs. Boeck and Schisler decided to embark on a partnership in Optometric Practice in Santee, CA. They expanded their San Diego area vision care in 1990 with the opening of a second office in Kearny Mesa on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Drs. Boeck and Schisler have been in practice together now for over 30 years.

Worst OD I've ever been to. Office is old, cluttered and out of date. Receptionist forgot to call the lab to replace my daughters glasses, after two months I called to check and the doctor told me to call my insurance because THAT was the issue. When the new receptionist was hired she let me know the old receptionist never sent them to the lab and the doctor REFUSED to check saying that they have no contact info to call the lab and check the status (meanwhile the new receptionist called the lab directly to find out the case ... read more
By far the worst place I've been too in Santee Not a friendly place for children either! Took my autistic son for a check up since he has astigmatism in his eyes. We showed up on time for our scheduled appointment Dr refused to proceed in seeing my son because of his "behavior" . He is a 3 year old toddler not a freaking adult! There's ways to handle kids and adults and not just kick us out because he didn't like someone close to his face! After he seen my son was willing to cooperate he still refused and asked us to leave
