Working with Rod has been a game-changer in my quality of life. I met Rod back in November 2019 while searching for a coach that could help complement my cycling workouts with off bike training. After 25 years off the bike, I trained really hard and competed in about 15 road races in 2016 (at age 54)… until I tore my hamstring tendon, which warranted surgery in 2017 to reattach it. The surgeon accidentally severed part of my sciatic nerve leaving my left leg permanently numb, with limited function and atrophied. Regardless, I still wanted to get fit and race again.
