This club has very responsive ownership. They upgrade the facilities every year or two, putting membership dues to work buying new equipment and upholstering their older stuff. They have an excellent sauna which alone is worth the monthly fee!

So I moved to San Rafael. Your Novato membership won’t work there (SR is $40 more) So I talked to the Novato and SR managers to avoid my last month cancel fee in Novato by joining SR. Zero solutions offered. No service. They wanted my Novato cancel fee even if I started at SR new. Better customer service keeps customers, who knew? Question to owner in follow up: Why couldn’t you start me up at San Rafael and drop your cancellation fee? Is that not reasonable? Your membership won’t work in San Rafael ($40 more) and they won’t transfer you, despite SR having way less room. I moved, and so had bank block the last payment (Remember 30 day notice). So the Manager calls and I offer to pay, even offer $40 more, but I need it to go towards San Rafael. He refused to help and says “that’s a different system, can’t.” (But if you pay SR, you can go to Novato.) I said “I have nothing more to say.” Better customer service keeps customers, who knew?
I just became a member at the Body Kinetics and I love it. The people at the front desk are very friendly and nice. The instructors are also nice and knowledgeable. The gym has a lot of useful exercise equipment. There are many classes included in the membership. I wish I had joined sooner.
