While we initially enjoyed our (expensive) dinner last night, my husband and I both got food poisoning a few hours later (most likely from the Fish of the Day served on 03/29). I cannot in good faith recommend The Rest, which is very unfortunate as our server Nicole was kind and friendly and the remainder of our meal was pleasant. I hope others avoided whatever undercooking or bad bacteria was in the fish and did not have to go through this.
We didn’t have any food, but we didn’t want any because Ryan entertained us and made us forget we were hungry. However, I’m sure it would have been great based off the service we had at Bodega.. The door was opened for me by Gavin, and then Ryan greeted us with the biggest smile. Gavin and his coworkers must work for a great place…. BODEGA
Rest, the downstairs speakeasy style bar, is great! Really nice cocktails, bartenders and atmosphere
