2 weeks and $600 later and my car still couldn't pass inspection because the brake lights didn't work. I wound up fixing it myself with $80 in parts and a circuit diagram. And let's not forget the 3% charge for using a credit card instead of cash! UPDATE: since Nucar has responded to my review after several years, I have a question - will they unconditionally refund the illegal credit card fees they charged to me and other customers?
Kept my car 2 days short of 3 weeks to paint because of recall. Said 1 to 2 weeks. No correspondence. Called at the end of 2 weeks to see how things were going. They said another week or two. If they weren't going to get it done in the time they gave us, why take it in so early. Left us stranded. Also said the whole car would be painted. It was not. Only trunk,roof and hood. Was not a happy camper.
Worst experience of my life. When I was given a mountain of paperwork to sign, I looked to see what I was signing, Joel says, “Oh, you’re one of those, I need to get home”. I was inconveniencing him. Paid cash. After all the paperwork was signed I then found out I couldn’t take the car. They can’t register it. Not even a temp plate to get home. They said it will take a week or so.
