We were searching for first-time road bikes for me and my 16 year-old son. The folks at Boca could not have been nicer or more helpful. They have decades of experience but were still so patient and welcoming to us, taking the time to explain things and help us understand the world of biking in Hawaii. We made several visits over the course of weeks and they never pressured us or tried to sell us something we didn't need. Will never go back. I bought a new Scott mountain bike from them when I first arrived in Hawaii over a year ago and everything was good so I brought my new carbon fiber gravel build in for the finishing touches because I was just too tired/frustrated to complete them myself; big mistake. The first "mechanic" installed tubeless valves without removable cores (how the hell he found tubeless valves without removable cores is a mystery unto itself), but that isn't the worst part. Came here to fix my bike that had an issue for a while. The guy working there immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it. He explained that the gears weren’t shifting correctly with the chains. The store itself is really nice too, I recommend this place for serious cyclists.
