Welcome to Bob's Your Uncle. We believe in "Great Food, Served by Friends" and try to live up to that, every meal, every customer. We opened this restaurant in April of 2005. The original Bob's Your Uncle opened on Mormon Trek Boulevard in southwest Iowa City since 2001. In November of 2009 our sister restaurant Monica's moved into the old Slugger's building on the Coralville strip. Bob's Your Uncle Pizza Cafe is one of our favorite local pizza places. Bob's is one of our favorite local pizza places, maybe the favorite sit-down. We usually order the New York style. The crust is wonderful. The staff is always friendly. The owner stops by every time we're in and chats with us for a while, usually about pizza. We've heard good things about some of the sandwiches, but we always get pizza. We've also had their breadsticks and mozzarella sticks which are good. We'll definitely go back again many times.
Good pizza! A bit out of the way, but convenient to I-80, Bob's in Iowa City is a good stop. My favorite thing is that each pie is named after a favorite Iowa Hawkeye athlete -- a cool tribute.
Top notch!!! Bob's Your Uncle is family owned and very much a tradition in Iowa City, Iowa. Whether you are dining in or carrying out- you will find yourself more than satisfied with your experience. I would recommend Bob's Your Uncle to anyone that wanted a beyond ordinary pizza!
