to Paul D in regards to your review when exactly did you stay there????? there were some issues at the motel that gave been worked on with co-operration with the city .the property IS NOT A FELON. THE OWNER IS NOT A PEDOPHILEAND IF PAUL D"s is not removed the owner will be seeking legal counsel for false accusations

Building is filthy and unsafe. More code violations in one building than I have ever seen in my life. Can't understand how the city has not condemned this property (except that owner Robert Chidester has paid off law enforcement and government officials). Property manager is a convicted felon for theft. Employees/Guests are frequently registered sex offenders. Managers on drug users and violent alcoholics. 11 minutes ago on Google Owner has multiple building code violations which are not being fixed up to code. Several motel employees are criminals, including a registered sex offender. Not a safe nor healthy place to be. EDIT: Owner Robert Chidester has NO regard for the safety of anyone on his property. Whether code violations or behavior from his employees/guests, personal injury is almost guaranteed to occur. He has allowed hostile violent abuse to multiple people on property. hi please come to bobs motel located,, on lake ave right over by brothers nn best western,,,,, it is now under new management,,, everyhing has change,,,u will be more happier then ever fast service clean rooms the previouse manager,,, retired,,,, n left everything so wrong,,,,so please come n enjoy some awesome relaxsation its always peaceful,,,, thanks,,

Bobs Hotel in Woodstock, IL is the absolute worst place I’ve ever been to!!! A friend of mine lived there in disgust and I ran out of gas so I stopped by to use the phone to call a tow truck at 10:30pm, the owner came running out in ONLY underwear and called the police on me for trespassing to use my friends phone to call a tow truck for help!!Also calling me every name he could think of!

I volunteer at the Woodstock Food Pantry and was trying to provide some food to a client. The owner Bob would not provide anything to this person to show that he was a resident of the hotel. He would also not confirm to me either. Bob simply hung up on me. Very rude. We ended up giving emergency food to the client. Would never recommend that anyone go to this hotel.

what a dump!! all of my belongings smelled like cigarette smoke and I am a non-smoker. Bedding, curtains reeked!! i Brought my own pillow which I had to throw out because it reeked of smoke so bad.

I stayed at Bobs dump motel a year back. My wife must have had too much to drink when she booked this hole. The roomed smelled like smoke, the towels were personal tattered towels with initials on them. I grabbed the air freshener out of my car and hung it on the convo entry placed wad of gum smashed on the wall above the door. Also the DYI cable drilled to the wall to secure the door was a nice touch. I think it a success's if you walk out there without a disease or bed bugs. Gross place.
