Had the best experiences with them so far. Easy to book with and generally hassle-free. I provided parts and they did an excellent job repairing what I asked them to. Their rates are very fair, especially given other mechanics in the area, and their student discount and shuttle for students is very convenient. Staff helpful, friendly, and honest. Will be back in the future for a variety of other services. Overall highly recommend.
BEWARE !! New owners would give 0 zero stars if possible.
I would not even put in a 1 star, my service was so bad. They overcharged, did not do a good job, tried to get me to 'fix' thiings that weren't a problem, and left parts of what they did fixed unfinished. Had to go to my regular mechanic to correct all the problems. Be very cautious if you use them. AAA should not even have them on their list!
I am writing this review on behalf of my 71-year-old mother, who does not use the Internet. She recently went to Bob’s for a vehicle inspection, where she was told she failed and was presented with a repair estimate of $2,200. According to Bob’s, she needed new control arms with ball joints, as well as front and rear brakes. As anyone would, she sought a second opinion. This is no longer Bob's service center. Montshire owns it now and the service has gone way down. We use to fill all our small 5 and 10 gallon propane tanks there with any hassle . Now they refuse to fill them. And make sure you have every piece of paperwork on your vehicle if you want inspections . So sad it's not the friendly station that it was when Bob owned it . The place has changed so much.
