go to shop, not to eat – Everyone loves Bob's flours, beans, mixes etc. Being a bigtime home baker I was looking forward to going straight to the source. And you'd think that a place that grinds flour would make excellent pancakes, pastries etc for breakfast, eh? Wrong. Dull, heavy pancakes kind of epitomize the overpriced, uninteresting food at a location that is very inconvenient if you're driving from Portland. Vegan pancakes!! – Bob's Red Mill serves breakfast and lunch for meat eaters and vegans alike, but I can only vouch for the vegan fare. The pancakes are awesome! An order with veggie sausage is plenty filling. The home fries were pretty tasty, too. The vegan french toast was average, but worth it if you haven't had some in a while. They have a wide selection of drinks and coffee, and best of all - you dine with a (much) older crowd! No hipsters eating vegan breakfast here!
