I have been coming to Bob's since 2010. Their technicians are very knowledgeable. I have never had any problems, always fixed right the first time! Highly recommend!

I had an appointment for 10AM. I'm new to the West Bend area. I was told about your location, so I thought I would try it out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a tall young man by the name of George. Very eager to help. He took my information, I needed an oil change. While sitting there, there were many other people coming in for emission testing. All were greeted kindly. And then the people were getting called because their cars were done. This location is clean, friendly and I'm very happy with the work that was don... read more

They charge $450 for a flippin brake job. As soon as I checked with John from Half Price Auto, he charged me 200 bucks after tax. I had a friend that was charged 500 bucks for a cam sensor that takes about 15 minutes to install. I walked in on this last visit without an appointment, and they acted dumbfounded that I would think to stop into a business without an appointment. I asked for a price for brake pads and rotors, they wouldnt give me a price without looking at it. I already knew what it needed, and they acted like I ... read more

Used Bob's for several years. Always seemed fair and quick. Prices this past time had us surprised. Found place who charged almost half of what they were going to charge for same service. Since it was a major repair costing over $2500, we decided to take car to a place down the road that ended up costing us about half the price. We ended up spending $1200 instead, and they also used the dealer O.E part. The other thing that was very unsettling to me is that when I asked Kevin up front what their labor rate was, he would not ... read more

Not impressed at all! Quoted $500 for labor to replace transmission I myself supplied. Waited for over a week to have the job completed. Was charged over $800 when job was finished. Upon completion of job I was also told that my heater core was leaking along with the power steering tensioner being broken. Both worked fine before this. After picking up the car and having to rescue my girlfriend that was stranded with a dead battery. Seems that they dont even know how to tighten the negative battery cable!

I recommend Bob's Auto & Towing to anyone stranded in the West Bend area. My alternator took a dump on the way to MKE from the Fox Valley. The tow driver not only diagnosed the issue on scene after jumping my battery twice (when the local dealer offered to charge $99 just to diagnose), he towed my car to Bob's lot and found a colleague to fix my alternator on a Saturday afternoon when no other service shop was open. What could have been a desperate situation of finding a way home, after having to abandon my car over 70 miles... read more

I went to have a throttle position sensor changed. I knew that was the issue, but I couldn't make it to my regular mechanic to fix it. Bob's Main Street Auto charged $352. When I told them they were way over priced they thought I was crazy. I later went to my regular mechanic further away and he charges everybody for the same job $167. I asked around and discovered Bob's Main Street Auto likes to brag to others and there suppliers about charging so much to their customers. My mechanic agreed that they are crooks. I asked to ... read more

I have used Bobs before, in the past, and never had any problems. When the tow truck driver denies you service, that's not going to leave a good taste in your mouth... Whealon Towing came to our rescue and had amazing customer service from the start!! I will NOT be recommending Bobs to any one.
