January 2021 marks our 50th year of business in Fresno. It has been our pleasure - THANK YOU. Since 1972, Bob’s Dive Shop has been training people who love the Ocean to Scuba Dive. We are proud to be the oldest dive shop in California with original ownership. Our travel club, the Sub Club, travels the world with our divers and friends. We sell the finest and most reliable brands of diving equipment and service yours to keep it working properly so you can explore the underwater world.

The training is well organized and having a pool on site is a plus. The issue comes from the staff and specifically Ed. If you don't spend your money in the store you get on their bad side. The other issue is that they are very cliquey. If you don't have money then they tend to ignore you on boat trips. I went through my training and then spent $3500 on new gear but every time I went on a boat trip ( I did almost every trip in my first year) I would get a halfhearted greeting from Ed and then he wouldn't even acknowledge me ... read more
