Ah, Bob's Big Boy is a classic hamburger joint that's been in Glendale for a long time. It's a great place to take your family for good, decent priced food. It's well known for its burgers, salad bar and especially the hot fudge cake for dessert.Unless prices have changed, you can easily get out of there for under $10/person. I recommend this place to take friends or family, but remember it's pretty casual.
great breakfast buffet This location has a very good breakfast buffet special - weekends only I think. All the food on it is very good. The place is very clean and the service is good.
Friendly and Well Run The weekly breakfast and dinner bar is a good buy. There is a complimentary Detrot News during breakfast hours. Sandwiches are somewhat overpriced. The coffee cup is always full. Good service. PROS: Good service, free newspaper, reasonably priced buffets CONS: Crowded at lunch, too many small booths
Pleasent Surprise We went here because at least in a Big Boy, you know what you are getting. There food is pretty consistent. When we arrived, we were surprised by the many specials they offer. They are really tied into the community and try to alter their menu to fit the community's needs.
like a blast from the past Remember the Big Boy restaurants that used to be almost everywhere, well, it's here in Somerset still. You can still get the Big Boy burger and those skinny little fries. Both are mouth-watering treats. They have a huge variety of different types of food so everyone in your family should be able to find something they like. Glass in pie The food was delicious but I did have a piece of glass in my banana split pie. The cashier was very thoughtful and seemed to care but the manager did not seem at all worried. They gave me my slice of pie for free. I didn't want anything for free, I just didn't want anyone else to get a piece of glass from the same pie. I wasn't out to get a free meal.
I like it Nice seating and the place has a nice variety on their menu. Food was good. We has mostly breakfast and the waffle was the best ever. Even the biscuits and gravy were good too.

Slim Jim all the way Big Boy is a classic in Michigan. The food is unique and savory. I particularly like the Slim Jim combo. The original Big Boy is also a favorite. The homemade salad dressing is also a winner.
