CAUTION Took my Chevrolet 1500 pick up truck as the shift cable was damaged. I was told the cable was REPLACED. The shifter was loose and I was told it was a SPRING broke in the steering column and it need replaced and the gas gauge did not work and I needed a new cluster. I took the truck into a SELMER TN auto mechanics shop. The cable was NOT replaced it was loosened so the truck would shift. There was NOTHING wrong with the steering column.
