Rented an excavator. And returned it quite muddy but full of diesel. When renting the excavator all that was mentioned was to make sure it was full when returned as they charge extra to fill it. When the driver came to pick up the machine I asked whether or not I should hose it off. I was told no it’s fine. THREE FULL WEEKS LATER… the card used to rent the machine was charged $195.00. Scheduled a track loader rental for the weekend. Was told it will be dropped off early in the afternoon on Friday. Wanted to make sure I was there to pay cash or I’d have to pay an additional 3%fee. Was also told that there’s a $6.50 per gallon fee for diesel if return with less fuel. I told them I don’t have cell service at my camp but will be there by 1pm. Took the kids out of school.
