We dropped off our rug to be dry cleaned on 5/4, with a due date of 5/23. We finally got a text today 5/31 that it was ready for pick up. We just opened it to put it on the floor, and it doesn't look like it was cleaned very well (if at all). Maybe a vacuum was run over it, but it looks and smells like it did when we dropped it off. There is still dog hair on it and stains on the bottom. We paid $100 to have our rug cleaned, which is WAY too expensive for whatever was done. Super disappointing.
I brought in four basic sweaters for dry cleaning and I was charged $43! They don’t tell you, but they charge you more for namebrand Clothing. I’ve never paid anywhere. I’ve lived more of an eight dollars to clean a sweater but this business charged me $9 to $12 per sweater. Never again.
I dropped off 4 cotton shirts for laundry and medium starch. Unfortunately I did not ask for pricing. When I went to pay for the service the bill was $38.20… I thought the young lady at the counter was kidding me! They upcharged me $2.00 plus dollars for one shirt being a cotton/silk blend! I have had that shirt and others all over the US in Manhattan, NY for instance and out of the hotels the prices were not nearly as high! Please be aware if you are a first responder, attorney, police officer, fire department, landlord, doctor, this business will not take any calls from private numbers. The people who can pay and can afford are the numbers they are blocking. They have been informed of this as their telephone provider has blocked their number to the public.
