DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went in to get my nose cauterized for nosebleeds. I've had this procedure done this a dozen times in my life at various doctor's offices. It takes maybe 15 minutes. The cost has never been memorable. I went in to this office in January for the procedure. I was in the office for 30 minutes at most (including waiting for the doctor,) and I got a bill for $7500!!!! YES, $7500 FOR A 30 MINUTE APPOINTMENT!! My co-pay on this is $3000. $7500 for 30 minutes = $250/minute!!! I figured this must be a mistake, so I... read more
The doctor is nice ,caring, knowledgeable ,patient ,responsive, does not force surgery ,explained risks well but make sure when you schedule a surgery for yourself or a family member at Rush to ask your doctor who will be part of the surgery team way ahead of the surgery date if you don't want residents to be involved as we were not aware that residents / second-year resident surgeon will be part of the surgery team ahead as the discussion never happened in the prior visits before surgery date. I really had a bad experience with billing. I went there to check on my CT scan and how to proceed with the treatment. My visit was for less than 15 min. The doctor looked at the CT scan ,looked into my nose and said try medications and if you don't feel better we will discuss surgery. Billing was as the following: Minor surgery: Endoscopic surgery for almost $960. New patient charge was almost $200. A hospital bill since he did the "surgery" in there for more than $500. UPDATE 03.26.2025: Do not fall for the standard reply they post under the negative reviews in order to make it look like they care. I emailed the patient relations department two times to complain about the issue and I called them as well. They returned my call but I was at work and there was no way to answer the phone. After that I returned the call at my first convenience but nobody answered. Nobody returned my call and my emails either.
