If you haven't been there, it is worth going with family there for a picnic Plenty of car parks ($12 for the whole day), playground area for kids, and amazing river views
A great location to visit with friends & family. Lots to see & do (bush walks through the national Park, paddle boats) & if you forget to take a picnic lunch there's also a couple of cafe's there where you can get a bite to eat or something to drink. The NPWS take pretty good care of the area so toilets are clean and easily accessible (including disabled facilities), there are lots of picnic tables and free (I think) gas bbq's.
