Nice quiet place to have a nice meal
In the very popular Green Chili Wonton soup I couldn't tell if the wontons were really old or way undercooked. They were gooey and tasted like dough. If anyone can say this was a one-off, I'll try it again. The flavor of the broth was fantastic. Unfortunately it was take out and I don't live close.
This has been a favorite spot of mine for years but had a really disappointing experience tonight and sharing publicly with hopes that the staff will reconsider their approach to communicating with guests and posting their hours of operation. We arrived at 6:30 PM, open sign was on, hours online and in the window say open til 7:00 PM. The woman who greeted us said she’d have to check with her supervisor if we could be seated and came back to say she got the go ahead but had to clean a table.
