I hired Bob Walters Builders in July to build a 36'x30' Garage and put a 50% deposit down on the job. I trusted the owner as he bragged about his reputation as a premier contractor.....couldn't have been further from the truth!!!:-He went to pull the permit and he was informed that the building was not permittable as planned. The good: Good pole barn construction, good garage doors, service door, siding, cement, roof and windows. I was surprised that they were all contracted out to other providers except the service *************** but they are all well done. . The not so good: Permit expired before beginning project despite putting 50%. down. Covered up several split boards so as not to draw attention to them. Call or text Shane and you will be amazed The barn was built quickly and is perfect. It was completed to the penny of the quote, could not be happier. Every step of the process Shane answered my calls or texts and kept me informed of the next steps. Along with Shane all of the people he uses and refers (concrete, overhead doors, excavating) were very professional.
Shane was one of the best contractors I ever worked with. In Jan 2018 he gave me a quote for a pole barn on a Saturday while at his son's ball practice and answered all my questions. We had a dialog for 2 weeks and I went a different route with my barn and he had no hard feelings but wished me well. After my contractor failed to show up in March 2018 I called Shane and asked for help as all my materials were on site.
