Our family is so grateful for the YMCA Preschool. From the start, we felt welcomed and supported, and it’s clear the staff truly care for each child. The teachers are patient, nurturing, and hands-on, creating a safe and joyful place to learn and grow. My child has gained both a strong foundation, excitement to learning and confidence thanks to their caring approach. He asks to stay longer when I pick him up. Jen, the director, has created a community where families feel welcomed and children feel safe, valued, and inspired.
Camp Sierra's Preschool is still fairly new, in only their second year open I think. But we have really found our home with them. I would recommend to anyone!! I have two kids there, one in the 2-3 year old class and one in VPK. My 2 year old is spicy (iykyk) and they are so patient with him, yet they set firm boundaries that he needs. Ms. Lorena is extremely communicative so we are always on the same page. Preschool at the Y is Tampa’s best kept secret! As new members of Bob Sierra Y, we discovered they have a summer camp starting for 2 year olds. If anyone has a 2 year old, they know how difficult it is to find affordable summer camp programs for that age. Under the nurturing care of Ms. Lorena and Ms. Karen, my daughter bloomed over the summer. She’s met great friends, learned many skills and looked forward to going to camp every week.
