Professional and Quality Work I do a lot of work on my cars, but I know my limits. When my daughters PT Cruisers water pump started leaking at 98k miles I looked into what had to be done to fix it. I found out quickly this is one of the worst vehicles to work on for this problem. You have to remove a lot of parts and maneuver the engine in several directions in a very tight spot. Horrible! Very Dishonest Mechanic! Is there a way to select negative stars to rate this company?
The Mechanic I'll Recommend to My Kids Bob *listens* to my car. I bring it in, he lets it run, or drives it around the block, and 80% of the time knows what's wrong ?? or not wrong. He's not the cheapest in town, but damn close. And what I save by his telling me not to bother with something I'm sure more than makes up for the difference. He explains everything patiently, and without condescending.
Bob Raught's Auto Repair is excellent. I have been taking my car to them for years. Very honest; they will try to find good deals on parts, too. I was quoted over $2000 from someone else--they fixed everything for around $700.
unsatisfactory, dishonest, had this business give me a quote to repair my car. After taking the car for repair and upon seeing the bill, the cost was over $100 more than quoted me. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
