Do not recommend at all for couples counseling. No "take home work" was ever given, very little counseling was actually done, just a lot of stockpiling of information/insecurities while focusing solely on myself as what was wrong with me while offering my girlfriend at the time tools to better support or understand me, which led to me being more insecure as a result rather than healing and growing.
You struggling? This is your guy! Low key, calm, all you got to do is talk. He takes amazing notes. My journey was long and complex. It took a lot of work and a lot of energy on my part. But Bob Parkins was an amazing guide through it all. He guided me to where I needed to be. Do yourself a favor, make an appointment with Bob Parkins!
