Really great work, trustworthy mechanics! We were always told to go to Nielsen's automotive (across the street) but whenever we'd call, there was a zillion day waiting period. For people like us, who procrastinate on scheduling or need emergency work done before a trip (and didn't schedule in advance), getting an appointment quickly and conveniently are of the utmost importance! Knowledgeable, Professional, Trustworthy I too was initially referred to Bob and Kevin's because of their backlog at Nielsens. Nielsen's has an excellent record of ethical professionalism, so my expectations were high. Bob and Kevin did not dissapoint me. They have worked on multiple cars for me and have always been interested in doing the right thing for my family's cars. They have also let me know each time about future issues that will occur for my vehicle so that I can plan financially for future work on my vehicles. The... read more

Honest and Professional I too was referred to Bob & Kevin's by Nielsen, due to their long wait for an appointment. My car couldn't start. Bob's initial estimate was that it could be due to a bad starter, and would cost $400+ to replace. They later found that it was due to a couple of bad relays in the starting system, and I was charged less than $300 for parts and labor. Some other shops would have replaced the starter motor and charged me for it anyway. Here, they are honest and charged for the real problem, which was less ... read more
