My wife and I are Canadians travelling in Tasmania. We got a flat tire on our rental car and drove 100 km on a spare to Bob Jane, Launceston, arriving 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday. Without hesitation, the fellows removed the tire from the rim, found it unrepairable and checked their stock for a new one.
