I wanted the rear deck (inboard/outboard) repaired when I had the boat winterized November 2014 only to be told after having it winterized that they were suddenly “swamped” and would do it next February or March. Now it’s March and I went by last Wednesday and Steve set it up for me to bring it in the following Tuesday. I just called to confirm the appointment. Now he is suddenly “swamped” (again) and it will be two weeks out but I could bring it in and it can sit out (where anyone can get to it) and he’ll get to it when he ... read more

Boatworks will treat you right, and fix your boat! – I've got a 30-ft pontoon/house boat at Crosswinds Marina. While out in the 3-ft low water, my prop hit bottom, and disabled my boat. The combination of TowBoatUSA, the Marina staff, and Boatworks repair shop *really* helped out. BEWARE, BEWARE--- RIP-OFF!! – Unbelievably poor service. Expensive beyond belief. Quoted one number, invoiced another. Repairs were not performed. problem which I had was not fixed. When I tried to rectify, they treated me like a piece of dirt. How can this place have been in business for so long. Their captive customer base (they're located at Crosswinds marina) is probably why. That is why I used them. MISTAKE. Please take my word for it. YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU USE THESE GUYS! I have found out that there are many mobile ... read more

EXPENSIVE, POOR SERVICE, BEWARE!!! – MY EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN THEY CAN NOT TROUBLESHOOT MOTOR ISSUES, STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY WORK. VERY EXPENSIVE AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMER. YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY IF YOU TAKE ANYTHING MORE THAN WARRANTY WORK TO THEM.

Got the work done – Had my prop worked on here. They got it done. Recommend additional staff to answer the phone and attend to customers.

Boatworks: friendly staff, resonable prices, read following! – I keep my boat at Crosswinds and boatworks is a very easy way to get all boat service done as they are right there at the marina. I was pleased with the responsivness to questions and the staff were very friendly. I had my boat winterized last fall and it seemed to all be done correctly and in a timely manner. I was disappointed with the bill as this did not list the exact work that was done to the boat. I called and they said that a detailed explanation of the w... read more
