If you’re thinking renting a boat from a random person over the internet AirBnB style sounds sketchy, trust your instincts — they are 100% right. I booked a boat through this platform — instantly confirmed, charged in full, confirmation number and everything. Seemed seamless. Do not use this website. I am extremely disappointed with the way this company handled our situation. According to their own policy, weather-related cancellations are clearly addressed. Despite this, when we requested a cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions, they refused to take any responsibility. This is unacceptable.
