I had a great experience dealing with Carla from the Albany location. Super price on my new Yamaha engine. They had tons of inventory in stock. Great shipping to my local install team. I would call Carla if your looking for great service and a great price from a local team backed by a large dealership network.
Carla at Boater's World Albany was an absolute pleasure to work with when purchasing a new Yamaha scratch and dent outboard. She went the extra mile to ensure that I would qualify for a Yamaha promotion and Carla was always responsive in a timely manner. She even emailed me extra pictures of the motor. The motor arrived shortly after the purchase as promised. I strongly recommend Boater's World Albany!
I would absolutely NOT recommend Boater's World to anyone. Customer service is nonexistent. Their lack of properly handling required paperwork caused me to incur a penalty in getting my new boat tags. They don't answer emails or voice messages except on their time; customer be damned.
Consignment sellers beware! Boaters World charges 15% commission and devalues your boat from its worth so much… Smells a bit suspicious. 🤨 Thanks David Carter of Boaters World, but I’ll seek my selling assistance from a more reputable source.
