Can not get the auto release to work when backing the boat in. Swapped it out for the manual version , that works as it should. Overall a well built product makes loading the boat simple for a person to load alone.
2026 lund Pro V 1875. Awesome product, has worked great for me. Saves me the from keeping my motor engaged while I hook up the strap and safety chain. Just drive up and it locks in.....
I always launch and load by myself. The launching isn't that hard, but I struggle getting the boat out, especially in rough water. I can drive the boat onto the trailer but it's not secure, so by the time I get down and hook on the winch strap the boat may have floated crooked and I have a lot of cranking and adjusting to do.
