My 2022 Sea Hunt got hit by a jet ski while docked at a local restaurant. It surprised me how much damage it did and my boat was taking on a little water. Got it home and on my lift. A friend suggested calling Captain Levi's. Spoke with Captain Dave. He had me email him some pics. He knew exactly what needed to be repaired. He said to call the insurance company and get a claim number and he would handle it from there. He sent a truck and boat trailer to pick up the boat and next day had it in the boat yard. Worked with Captain Dave directly on getting my Center Console repaired through insurance and have nothing but great things to say about him, and the guys that work for him. He was urgent and responsive, answering any questions that were thrown his way. Their work has been outstanding, and I would recommend him to anyone needing any work done on their boat. Donzi got smashed up pretty bad being hit at the stern by another boat while I was at anchor damaging the motor cowling, rub rail and stern structure including the transom. I called around to other repair shops but it seems none of them wanted to repair it all (one stop) except Captain Levi's. Captain Dave did everything with the insurance claim! Was scared because I had a transom crack ….. took my boat to Captain Levi’s. Dave came out and told me it was bad, but wasn’t that bad!! Had the transom delaminated new wood installed new fiberglass transom back together sanded down better than sea ray put out originally from the factory… Highly recommend Dave and Crew, hands-down the finest, fiberglass, craftsman, and Tampa Bay.
The service and quality were top notch. Both Captain Dave and Jose made the experience great from initial phone call to finished repair and delivery. Jose treated our boat as if it was his own, and we are extremely pleased with the results.
