We had a beautiful time with our kayak rental. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is lovely too!

July 1, today on Canada Day at around 11:45am we went down to Dows lake to rent a luxury pedal boat, the agent at the kiosk said the winds were at 27knots they had to be under 25, we walked back to the car maybe 10minutes walk and looked up the winds were actually 15knots, I guess the agents didn’t want to work, too much effort? So now we left to a different place and saw the Snowbirds while in the car on the highway instead of on the Canal.
Very Unprofessional staff. They don’t know how to help in sitting the customers in the boat. My friend fell down while sitting. They didn’t apologize instead they were laughing.
No near by parking. Makes it difficult for those who can't long walk. The closest was 550 meter away. No sign or direction for transportation or shuttle bus.
