We went on a Wednesday at noon and there was no crowd. We were immediately met by a rude male employee with a bad attitude hurrying us to sign the contract and hand in a credit card for them to keep. This was not stated on the website prior to arrival (it said they charge $20 pre-authorization) and I was met with hostility when I inquired more. We had an amazing experience renting kayaks here! From start to finish, everything was smooth, organized, and enjoyable. A huge thank you to Logan, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to guide us through everything we needed to know before heading out on the water.
I just called today june 22nd, 2026, they said the rentals close at about 8pm ish! ( not 6pm like google maps currently says) They said it changes throughout the year and is dependent on sunset ( and weather).
Very friendly staff and romantic date idea. I'd recommend calling advance to make sure your preferred activity is available due to the wind.
