Close entrance for boat and jetski because it’s full when min 10 spaces available
The boat ramp needs much better management. Too many people, especially jet ski rental operators, keep the dock occupied for long periods after launching, making it difficult for everyone else to use. The facility really needs security or staff on site to keep the dock moving and ensure everyone has a fair chance to launch and load. On top of that, the dock itself is damaged and in need of repairs. Great location, but it needs better maintenance and organization.

Diversey boat launch is conveniently located in the Lincoln park neighborhood. They do charge for entry to the boat launch, I think it was around $28. This includes the boat slip and parking for your vehicle and trailer. There are porta-potties which are not so clean due to heavy use. If you’re on the northside of Chicago this is a great place to launch your water toys or boats.
