I enjoyed the hotel overall very much. It seemed for the most part most people were wearing masks However in the commons areas like the breakfast room which is a very small space. At least half or more we’re not wearing masks. There is restaurant in the hotel with a bar that serves Indian food. The food that I ordered had tofu that was not cooked. They have boat rentals and lake view is lovely. If it aren’t for Covid and the blatant lack of consideration by others that chose to not wear masks I would have reviewed the hotel ... read more

We were staying in Great Barrington and in the mood to kayak. It turned out there weren't many options close by. We found the Black Swan Inn offered rentals and it was about 25 minutes away. I called and they said it was about $30 an hour for a single kayak and you had to pay in cash if you are not a hotel guest. So we made an appointment for that afternoon, hit an ATM and set off for Lake Laurel to give it a shot. It was a good experience!
