Thompson Boat House The food at the Boat House is good, the service is often slow, particularly over the lunch hour. It has been recently remodeled and offers a beautiful setting overlooking a lake. The food, prices and atmosphere are all good. I would recommend it, maybe not if you're in a hurry.
Good food, slow service The food is good and the atmosphere of the place is so much better since it is now smoke-free. The service is painfully slow however. The people I was with ordered burgers and me a salad (3 of us total) and it was at least 35 minutes before we got our food. Don't go if you are in a hurry for lunch!
