Get to The Boat House and ask for Cheryl! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. My husband, son and I went for dinner. Eating a meal out with a 14 month old is always a gamble and on this particular night when we were seated our son drank all the milk we brought immediately when we were seated. Cheryl and the manager both went above and beyond to ask neighboring restaurants for milk as to not cut our experience short. A wonderful atmosphere and delicious food to eat! We visit the area once or twice a year, and we will be back for sure!
That was the best Cod sandwich I’ve ever had. Perfect. 4 stars for atmosphere because kids freely running laps around the outside area, but generally that’s a parenting issue.
It’s a really nice place and we really enjoyed the first time we went. We ordered the Farmhouse mixed greens and the hanger steak. The chimichurri must’ve had chilies or something in it to make it more spicy than any chimichurri I’ve had in the past, but the hanger steak itself was tasty and done well.
