Cool place
Dry busy and great atmosphere. Hard to find a place to park or get into a restaurant though. Also pricey.
Our trip to Celina was a fun and relaxing get-away. We stayed at the Birdie Bungalow. The birdie, golf decor and roomy layout set the tone for a wonderful stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the dining area and living room spacious, the bedrooms each had comfortable beds and bathrooms with showers and the front porch had plenty of seating for the four of us to play games in the evening. This was our second year coming to Boardwalk Village. The house was amazing except the door lock wasn't working properly, the staff was aware of the issue but just advised us to push hard on the door. Also we didn't get to enjoy the pool on Friday as someone had brought their daycare kids for the day. The rules clearly state only guests staying can use the pool. There was 2 adults watching 20 kids, it was a mad house, the kids were blasting us with water guns even after we said something to the adults watching them. Other th... read more
