If I could give zero stars for the 1920 canyon boulevard apartments I would. I do not recommend renting through boardwalk realty based on my experience. From the beginning communication was frustrating. During the tour of the apartments, the leasing agent couldn't answer many questions about the property. When completing our application, we needed help filling some of it out but the supervisor was rude, unhelpful, and acted like we were inconveniencing her. We ended up having to figure everything out ourselves. Before we mov... read more
If you can avoid it, do NOT sign with this realty company! I lived in the 1515 Broadway apartments and it was atrocious. When we moved in the place had not been cleaned, which is illegal and we spent a lot of our time scraping old zyns off the walls and ceilings. The toilet, heating, screen door, porch light, garbage disposal, flooring, tiling, outlets, window and laundry machines were also all broken. It took them 6 months to come and fix the window and all the other issues we had to fix to the best of our abilities or just... read more
Moved in July 10 and it is now August 11 and still no central air. Multiple maintenance requests ignored. I have to continually call them to find out what’s going on. They are unresponsive to anything online through their portal and you have to wait till Petra is in the office to just find out the status of your maintenance request when you call. With the temperature in the 90s every day this is unacceptable! I do not recommend this company. Zero stars.
I have been happily renting with Boardwalk Realty for the past nine years, living in three different properties, and my experience has been consistently outstanding. Throughout the years, both the management team and the maintenance staff have always been professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Anytime I've had an issue, they've addressed it quickly and efficiently. I currently rent one of their houses, and they have gone above and beyond on several occasions. They even mowed my yard when I was responsible for maint... read more
It is honestly really frustrating how unprofessional and rude the people are at this establishment. I've on multiple occasions called to complain about issues in my apartment, where they consistently blame me for the issue and will not fix it completely. There was water damage from the apartment above me, which caused the ceiling to smell and look like mold. I told them this, and maintenance took to long to come yet after I was promised it would be fixed within the next week (it took a month). They only came two hours later ... read more
